The tuon are bear-like creatures who are mighty in stature and delight in honor, battle and song. And honey! The Tuon Tribes are composed of four tribes, the Verooshta, the Khlach, the Guoi-lor, and the Nasoon. All tribes but the Verooshta serve Yah Elyon in different ways and varying degrees. The Verooshta serve Beinu, the god of bees.
Chief Gratta was from the Khlach Tribe, which is known for their skills in negotiation and peace. Chief Taka was from the Nasoon Tribe, which is known for their skills in scouting and invention. The greatest warriors are from Guoi-lor, but the most vicious hunters of other races are the Verooshta.
